cemetery, sanctified to make a doggie green
the absolutely massive feeling 18th century St John's
medieval brasses clearly from an older church

POW Camp

Hiding in the woods are the remains of an old POW camp-just the foundations but the buildings remain imaginable

Park Hill

The older building of council flats is behind the colorful new development that's actually at the edge of the hill.

But if you look up at the abandoned buildings-all along the 4th story is street art. I saw 6 different faces with close ups in the adjacent windows. Fantastic!

Herdings

One of my favorite things to do in cities (where I know how to avoid the more dangerous parts) is to get a day pass and just spend the day hopping on and off buses finding new places and getting lost. Here is part of a huge complex of housing estates on the hills behind Park Hill.
