Kamilari Tholos Tomb

Commanding a gorgeous view, this tomb was composed of 5 rooms and a courtyard. Many compound statuettes and specifically the Minoan dancers statuette came from excavations here.

Not a Minoan palace but rather a rich town in which a large number of Linear A tablets were unearthed. Later on, a Roman villa was built at the site

Phaistos

Phaistos is perhaps primarily known for the Phaistos disc, the circular tablet with inscriptions (as yet untranslated)

Kommos probably started during the Bronze Age as the port city for Phaistos but it lasted (with many periods of abandonment and reuse) well into historical times until WWII destroyed the breakwaters that formed the safe harbor.
