New Space!

At my college, Art Club is still young (oh so very young) but we got control of an unused studio space on campus (well...HC couldn't use it anymore) which is wonderful! Except for the space we called the office (originally the garage of the mansion). This was a space that had moved far beyond "industrial chic" to urban decay. Mildew, drafts, holes, sagging ceiling and all, this was a strange smelling place and thus not very useful. In one semester, we conceived of a renovation plan, fundraised/networked (like crazy) and over winter break, it was renovated! Totally exciting, new door, new drywall, new paintjob, new windows!!!, custom built tables...Now Art Club has a classroom space!
