Vincentian Cathedral

gargoyle needs a haircut

you knew there was going to be a tower shot

side

side chapel with glorious fan vaulting

delicate metalwork (behind main altar)

floor mosaic

ambulatory

No longer remember what town this was in. It was a Vincentian cathedral that gave the impression of being old but I suspect it was built mid-century.
late entries because of finals.

Architectural Details

these are bizarrely realistic versions of bucrania that look vaguely Hindu

and on only this keystone is the old man's face accompanied by a...griffin?

at first glance I thought this was a clock but instead it's a wind direction dial?

Cornucopia

Unusual

these domes are unusual for this style

and what's this at the end?

a chimney? leading to the outside? plugged with terracotta 1907

i appear to lack the creativity to submit self-portraits that are not myspace-y

The Dublin Working Boys Home & Harding Technical School

I do not understand this architecture...why the random tower connected to an otherwise fun-roofed set of apartments?
