St. Cecilia's

pseudo medieval tile

'grotto' with the stations of the cross. This church is in the center of a typical NJ town (suburb of Newark and yes, along the Hudson) so I had to enjoy the contrast between the Old World(ish) style of this outdoor stations of the cross and the vinyl-sided 2 family home next door

the church itself

yes, these may be the first digital photos I post this year from this year...and as a way to revive the 365 photo a day project this originally was (instead I'm nearing on 500...) I'm going to have at least a year of text accompanying the photos, giving context and all that. so 2010, the year of verbosity.
