Prague-Our Lady of Tyne and the Lareto

these towers are the best

so tall

my camera lens was breaking so I didn't get the photographic licenses to photograph inside these churches but I strongly recommend them! Our Lady is fairly perfect Gothic in many ways and the Lareto is delightfully weird featuring a blood red chapel, black Madonna and several very unusual saints as well as Baroque tomb painting.

Prague-St. Vitus Cathedral

an interesting tapestry

very yellow light filled the cathedral

painted ambulatory chapel

words really cannot convey how metallic this altar thing was

I enjoyed the red and black theme in this chapel

medieval whimsy?

patron of the far left shield: "I want no doubts to be had about my power"

Prague Castle

I can't help but be awed at the maintenance needs of this painted rock

this photo kind of encapsulates so much of Prague-there's loads of Baroque and light colors and then looming behind them are huge dark Gothic towers being like YOU CANNOT FORGET ME.
